GROUP SESSION & CAMP POLICY

Parent Information

■ Behaviour & Disciplinary Policy

We aim to provide a safe, enjoyable and respectful environment for every child. Staff will use a proportionate step-by-step approach, depending on

the seriousness of the incident:

1 Verbal warning – the child is reminded of expected behaviour and given an opportunity to correct it.

2 Sit out / time out – the child may be asked to sit out of the activity for a short period.

3 Group session – if a child is disrupting the session, behaving unsafely or preventing others from participating, staff may ask the child to sit out of the

group activity until they are ready to rejoin safely and appropriately.

4 Staff discussion – staff speak with the child about the concern and what needs to change.

5 Parent/guardian contact – parents/guardians may be contacted about repeated or significant concerns.

6 Missed session/day – a child may be asked to miss a future session where behaviour is serious or repeated.

7 Removal from camp – serious incidents or persistent unacceptable behaviour may result in removal from camp.

• Serious behaviour may require immediate action without every stage being followed where there is a significant safety or wellbeing risk.

■ Camp Food Safety

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring food and drink brought into camp is fresh, safe, suitable and appropriate for their child’s age and

stage of development.

• No spoiled, mouldy or expired food. • Food must be stored and transported appropriately and safely. • Food requiring refrigeration/temperature

control should be kept at a safe temperature until eaten.

• Food must be prepared in an age-appropriate way to reduce choking risks. For example, grapes should not be sent whole for young children and

should be cut lengthways into smaller pieces appropriate to the child’s age.

• Parents/guardians must tell Front Foot Coaching about relevant food allergies or dietary requirements when booking. Children should not share

food where this could create an allergy or dietary risk.

■ Privacy Policy

• Personal information provided during booking is used to manage attendance, contact parents/guardians, respond to accidents or emergencies,

support safeguarding and administer bookings. • Relevant medical, allergy and emergency information may be shared with appropriate staff where

necessary for safety. • Information is stored securely and retained only as reasonably necessary or where required.

Parent acknowledgement: By booking my child onto a Front Foot Coaching group session or camp, I confirm that I have read and understood this

Group Session & Camp Policy and agree to follow the requirements above.
